Cycle 4. July 25. Now serving baby elephant.

Saturday, July 11th, 2009 @ 4:57 pm | Battle Plan, Board Games, Cycle 4, Game ON!, RPGs

The date is selected July 25, why well not may people voted and it’s the furthest date away with the most votes, so there’s prep time to pull it off. Now lets start annoucing what we’ll be bringing. I got the New Wallace game Steam, rails to riches, just waiting for its first table and I’ll bring a classic though probably not civilization this time. In other words, let the games begin.

I am prepared to run Feng Shui, the Action Movie roleplaying game.

Feng Shui is a game of Chinese sorcerors, kung-fu masters, cyborgs from the future, remorseful assasins, cars flipping over and exploding, nameless mooks being mowed down by the dozens and maverick cops jumping through the air while firing two guns and yelling “AAaaauugghh!” You will enjoy it.

    Hmmm,

Same location as last time? may want to edit the forst post to include locations details, time, etc.

I hope to make it but I’m not sure at this point. But I’ll let my gaming buddies know about it.

Thanks for the updated details. Barring untoward developments I will be there.

Depending on interest I am planning on running one of the following:

1st edition AD&D, Advanced Adventures, The Pod-Caverns of the Sinister Shroom. A new OSRIC module from Expeditious Retreat Press, for characters of levels about 2-4. Its a ridicoulously creative padventure and I love to run it.

Superheros playtest. My own free-form RPG still undergoing some revision. The rules are very simple and open - currently under 6 pages. Example characters are available from previous playtests.

  5. Darcy Says:

    Hey Joshua,

How did your playtest go? Do you have an electronic document of the rules? I’d love to check it out.

  6. Joshua Says:

They playtest was quite successful. I believe everyone enjoyed the game and I got some meaningful feedback. There was some good superhero versus supervillain action.

Why not? I’ll covert it to .pdf and shoot you a copy by email. I’d appreciate some feedback.

  7. Joshua Says:

Just curious, is there any thought as to when the next cycle will be? November? December?
Heck I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it regardless of when it is.

  8. Steve Says:

Hmm. Good question. Methinks it’s time for Darcy to fire up the mighty Date Poll Machine!
