What I’m Bringing to Cycle 2

Monday, October 20th, 2008

The joy of having low-prep games in my repertoire is that I can bring a bunch, and be ready to enjoy any of them!

However, of late, I’ve had a hankering to run the following:

  • Dogs in the Vineyard.  Mormon Paladins in the old West.  Plenty of judgin’, shootin’ and sinnin’.
  • Pulp!  A fun, fast-playing skirmish minis wargame.  I’ve got a cool trilogy scenario with all the bells and whistles ready to rock.
  • Poison’d.  Arrrrrr! Not your Disney Pirates game, matey.  The cap’n just got it.  The British are bearing down.  You’re all, to a man, untrustworthy bilge rats.  Avast!
  • Dirty Secrets.  I’ve talked about this one a little bit earlier on.  Haven’t tried it out yet, but it really looks like an excellent way to game hard-boiled true crime fiction.
  • Mechaton.  I guess the minis bug has bitten me. What’s more fun than blowing the snot out of each other’s giant fighty lego robots? Absolutely nothing.

That’s what I’m bringing.  Five games, two slots.  It will really be a case of the market deciding.  This is going to be fun.
